Josh and Derb Ltd, a leading expert in processing plywood and sheet metal, is hiring for the following positions:
1. CNC Operator
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines for wood or related materials.
Proficiency in CNC machine setup, tool changes, calibration, and maintenance.
Ability to design, read and interpret CAD/CAM files and technical drawings.
Familiarity with G-code programming and CNC software is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A degree/diploma in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or related field is preferred.
2. Table Saw Operator
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating industrial table saws.
Proficiency in setting blade angles, cutting depths, and ensuring safety compliance.
Ability to read blueprints, cutting lists, and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of wood types, cutting techniques, and material handling.
Strong focus on precision, efficiency, and safety procedures.
Vocational training in carpentry, woodworking, or related technical field is an advantage.
3. Edge Bander Operator
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating edge banding machines.
Proficiency in machine setup, adjustment, and routine maintenance.
Ability to handle PVC, ABS, wood veneer, and melamine edging materials.
Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and measurements.
Strong attention to detail and quality finish.
Vocational training in carpentry, woodworking, or related technical field is an advantage.
